Bat Lift

What is Countywide Service?
Benton Area Transit (BAT) provides wheelchair-accessible, curb-to-curb transportation for seniors (age 65 and up) and people with disabilities who have limited transportation options throughout Benton County. 

You may be eligible for these services if at least one of the following situations applies to you:

  • You are 65 years of age or older;
  • You have a disability or health condition that prevents you from using public transportation or you have limited transportation options. *Information confirming details from a caseworker, primary healthcare provider, and/or a rehabilitation officer may be required for approval*

*Passengers must be certified for this service* If you are seeking BAT Lift service, you can apply online or with a paper form. Once approved for service, directions for scheduling rides with BAT Lift will be provided.

Service Hours
Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
Saturdays 8:30 am – 6:00 pm

Non-Service Holidays
New Year’s Day; Easter; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; or Christmas Day.

Weather Closures
In the case of inclement weather or road closures, Benton Area Transit will attempt to provide all scheduled rides where possible. BAT may reschedule non-critical rides if deemed unsafe to provide them. 

Fares
Using Statewide Transportation Improvement Funds (STIF), this service has been made free to passengers through June 30, 2025.
